What is activation start date?
Activation start date is when you want your WiFi service to start. E.g. If you're travelling to Europe on 1st Jan, the time you landed at Europe is 2nd Jan, you select the activation start date as 2nd Jan. Please note Wifi activation follow GMT+8 Malaysia time zone. Customer may collect the device 1 day earlier & return the device within 2 days after the usage end date.
Can I cancel my order?
Of course you can. However if your cancellation request is less than 10 days from your travelling date, you will be charged RM 30 per order and the remaining balance will be refunded within 7-14 working days.
I did not receive my order confirmation email! Did my order go through?
In the event that you did not receive a confirmation email, please check your spam/junk folder and notify us via email at enquirymy@roamingman.com
Is the activation date when I start using the device or the date I would receive my device?
Activation date is when you want your WiFi service to start.*Please take note that the wifi activation date & time shall follow +GMT 8 (Malaysia Time Zone).
Is there a minimum limit for the number of rental days?
Yes. Minimum rental period is 3 days.
What if I am travelling to multiple destinations?
If you’re travelling to multiple destinations, select different wifi packages according to your requirement. Your device will be activated for every country on our coverage list.
How can I return the Roaming Man Wifi Rental hotspot?
You could return the device back to our counters as below, or where you pick up.

How do I know you have received my return?
You will receive a confirmation email once we have received your return.
What if I fail to send back the device?
You are obligated to be responsible for the safe and timely return of your pocket Wifi. If you fail to send the rental RoamingMan 4G wifi hotspot back in time, or it just gets lost on the way back, you will be charged for the cost of the device (Please check the Terms & Conditions).
When will I be billed?
You will be billed immediately upon placing your order.
Is it possible to amend my billing address or other information after placing an order?
If any changes are needed for your order, including changing the shipping address, or extending the rental period, you can contact. We will then make the necessary arrangements.
Device Protection Fee
Device protection fee for overseas / local broadband wifi rental service is effective since 30th Dec 2019
- Applicable fees: RM 20 per unit of device
Please take note device protection fee is an OPTIONAL service for customers, non-refundable and subjected to the following terms and condition
Device protection fee COVER :
- Missing or damaged USB cable
- Missing or damaged Pouch
- Water damaged of the device
- Device appearance seriously damaged, but remains functional
- Screen of device seriously scratched, and/or charging port blocked/damaged but Equipment remains functional
Device protection fee DOES NOT COVER:
- Missing or loss of the device
- Late return fees
- Cancellation fees
Device Protection Fee is only applicable for Rental Period, not applicable for purchased device.
Once the ownership has changed to user, the device protection fee is not applicable.

Do I get unlimited data usage?
Generally, data usage is unlimited, but in some regions and countries, FUP (Fair Use Policy) may be applied when an individual user has exceeded a certain amount of data within 24 hours. When the data usage reaches 500MB or 3GB (depends on the package you have selected) within a day (24 hours), the connection speed may slow down to 384kbps for download and upload speeds. The connection speed will recover to high speed again the following day.
Will it work on an airplane?
Sorry, your ROAMING MAN hotspot will not work on an airplane.
ROAMING MAN partners with local cellular carriers to provide outstanding data service for our users. Only satellite technology works up in the air.
Will it work on a cruise ship?
ROAMING MAN will work by ports or on land where there is cell reception, but not far out at sea (only satellite technology is available far from land). However, ROAMING MAN Hotspots will work when your ship gets closer to ports and at cruise destinations. The closer you are to land, the better connection you will receive.

What is 4G high speed?
4G high-speed internet enables up to 150Mbps for download and 50Mbps upload. You may get 3G internet speeds in some countries because our ROAMING MAN WiFi service is based on the local internet service provider. The device may have weak or no signals in airports, mountains, highways, ports, basements, islands, high seas, etc.
Can I check my data usage?
Daily data usage may be checked with any mobile browser. Enter 192.168.43.1 into the address window and your daily data usage will be displayed. A user guide with detailed instructions will be included in your ROAMING MAN pouch.
Do I have to configure anything before connecting my device to ROAMING MAN?
No configuration is necessary. Turn on the ROAMING MAN device then select the wifi hotspot name on your device. Enter the password located on the back of ROAMING MAN device.
What devices does it work with?
Any Wi-Fi enabled device, such as smartphones, laptops and tablets, will work with our ROAMING MAN WiFi hotspot device. Up to 5 devices may be connected simultaneously.
Is it real 4G network?
Yes, it is 4G high-speed internet access, up to 150Mbps for downloading and 50Mbps uploading. You may get 3G internet access in some countries, because RoamingMan service is based on the local internet service provider. The device may have weak or no signals in airports, mountains, highways, ports, basements, islands, high seas, etc. Please restart the device and connect to a network after moving to a more accessible location.
